Back to School Bash at the Splash

Today, Savannah Grace returned to Belden Street Montessori School for her 2nd and final year of preschool. She was so excited! She is our "hard to get out of bed....Daddy usually has to carry her downstairs in the morning kind of girl" but today, she sat straight up when I came to wake her up. She said, "I get to see Houston everyday for a whole year!" She let me curl her hair and then...of course...we went to IHOP for breakfast. She was dressed in a new outfit...which she said she liked because it was so colorful. In the drop-off line, I jumped out of the car and took a quick picture in front of her in front of the school sign. After I snapped the pic, she just skipped inside. Such a big girl! Lilly Claire and I missed her today.

After school, we had a picnic lunch at a park with her school friend, Olivia. Savannah Grace chattered non-stop about all the details of school. Her favorite work...of course....was the kitchen work, a.k.a. all you can eat snack time!!!!!!!! Some things never change.
